Campaign Story
We’re Peyton and Taylor, a couple whose hearts have always been set on starting a family. From the beginning, we knew children would be a central part of our lives, and we carefully built a foundation to welcome them by finishing school, establishing our careers, and creating a loving home.
After taking these steps, we were ready to start trying, but what we didn’t anticipate was how difficult this journey would be. What should have been a joyful and natural path to parenthood turned into a long, emotional struggle with infertility, heartbreak, and a race against time, leaving us both emotionally and financially stretched as we fight for the family we’ve dreamed of.
No one told us how hard it would be. Month after month, I tracked ovulation, charted my temperature, and stared at countless negative pregnancy tests. Still, we waited out the full year required before seeking medical help. That year was crushing—lonely, full of unanswered questions, and with no support available yet.
Eventually, bloodwork revealed something terrifying: my AMH, a marker of ovarian reserve, was almost nonexistent. At 28 years old, I had the levels of a woman decades older. While every other test came back normal, my ability to produce viable eggs was slipping away. Our only option was to pursue fertility treatment.
Just as we were about to start, we got a miracle: a positive pregnancy test. We were ecstatic, amazed that it had happened naturally, against all odds. For 9 weeks, we dreamed of nurseries, baby showers, and the child we had prayed so desperately for. But at our OB appointment, we were told the words no parent should ever have to hear: “There’s no heartbeat.”
Losing our baby gutted us. I experienced a traumatic miscarriage at home, and the grief was unbearable. That loss will stay with us forever.
Still, we pressed forward with treatment. But instead of making progress, we hit barrier after barrier. We experienced two cancelled IVF cycles without reaching an egg retrieval. On top of that, the care we were receiving was subpar; we were rushed, pressured into decisions we weren’t ready for, and left feeling unheard. We made the incredibly difficult decision to switch providers and clinics. That choice meant starting from scratch financially as our previous funding won’t carry over, but we knew we couldn’t compromise our care.
And that’s where we are now: facing a diagnosis that leaves us with no time to spare, but without the resources to move forward. Our new doctor wants to begin treatment right away, and we’re doing whatever we can to scrape together funding.
Our insurance offers no fertility coverage. No testing, no medications, no treatment. Every blood draw, ultrasound, injection, and procedure comes out of pocket, and unfortunately, the costs are staggering.
We are doing everything we can, but right now, we need help. Help to move forward before more time is lost. Help to finally have the chance to bring home the baby we’ve longed for through years of struggle, heartbreak, and hope.
We are deeply grateful for any help we receive. Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement means more than we can ever say. Your support brings us closer to holding our child in our arms, and we will carry that generosity with us always.
